Composite Fencing The Pros and Cons

In this article we touch upon composite fencing the pros and cons, why choose composite over timber and what composite actually is.

What is composite fencing made from?

Composite fencing is made from plastic resin mixed with real wood fibers. When these are mixed together they form a material that is denser, stronger and heavier than wood alone. What sets WPC is its commitment to sustainability, with 90% of its composition originating from recycled products. The Eco-conscious approach not only preserves our forests from deforestation but also finds a way to re-purpose products that would otherwise contribute to pollution.

When working with composite fencing it feels similar as wood but has the benefit of less likely to split and de-laminate. Composite is more stain, scratch and mold resistant and therefore has a longer life than timber. Our Composite Fencing comes as a finished product and is available in 3 colour. Teak, Black & Grey. There is no need to paint, sand or stain our fencing. We also supply aluminium rails and composite posts to finish the look off.

Low Maintenance Fencing

Unlike traditional materials composite fences require minimal effort to maintain its fresh appearance. The recycled timber and plastic fence panels won’t splinter or warp like traditional wooden fencing.

Our fencing retains the look of wood without the maintenance, bid farewell to those tedious tasks of painting, staining and repairs and welcome to a new way of fencing that looks effortlessly stylish all year round.

Composite fences are dual faced so your finished fence will look just as good on both sides and every angle.

Is Composite Fencing Expensive?

Although the initial layout of composite fencing may seem a higher price than traditional timber fencing. In the long term it will not only save you money, it will save your time due to the low maintenance feature.

Wooden fencing especially softwoods require much more maintenance. With added costs such as treatments, paints, sealants to help the wood stand upto to rotting and warping. It can often be more economical to invest in a Composite Fence. The ease of cleaning and its resilience make it a practical and time-saving choice.
