Composite Decking Clips

Plastic Decking Clips offer fast, efficient installation with no visible screws. Our 5mm plastic decking clips which set a 5mm space between each decking board. These come in bags of 100 and can be used with our waterproof stainless steel black zinc coated screws. Designed for improved force and alignment these the screws slide through the fastener and uses compression as well as thread friction to hold the clip and board tightly together. Our starter clips are used on the start and finishing of each row.

What is Composite Decking Made From?

Our 3.6m composite decking is a great material that moulds together plastic resin with real wood and real wood fibres. This combination allows for a superb looking product with a much increased life span than traditional wooden decking. Making this product virtually maintenance free so no need to get your paint brush out year after year to make your decking look good again. As composite decking is made from recycled materials, it is also good for the environment.

Is it slippery when wet?

Unlike traditional timber decking, composite decking does not become slippery when wet. Composite decking absorbs significantly less water than traditional materials and also limits the growth of fungi and mould which can make the surface slippery. This gives you a safe and secure platform to walk on, making it suitable for everybody including children and the elderly thus being user friendly throughout the year.

Is it difficult to install?

Composite decking is simple to install and can be installed by any competent DIY enthusiast. It does not need any specialist or technical knowledge to be able to fit. and

Composite decking is designed to cut like wood decking. So if you’re fine using a saw then you’ll be more than capable of installing this decking. The composite will not split or splinter like traditional wood which makes it even easier to fit. There is also the added advantage of not needing to treat it when installed.
